Hopefully you will have by now logged into your web account successfully.
When you are logged into your account, you will have reached the "Member Information Form", where you can edit your information as needed. In this article, I am only going to address this section and not the sections on advertising or submitting items.
In the "Contact Information", you will find your username, which you used to log in. You can change any of the fields here. None of this information is displayed on the website. Just click on "Update Member Info" when you're done with this section.
The next section, "Business Information", is more involved. Most members have one business but the account can accommodate more than one. You will see for each business membership there will be a number, displayed as "CVHBBA Membership Number ###" (where ### is your number). Please note the instructions below the heading. You can edit the fields that follow. Note that some of this information IS displayed on the website. Click on any of the iconic question marks for more information about those fields.
Just after "Postal Code" is an option to list your business descriptions in either the print directory, on the website, or both. Your web description can be different than your print description. Make sure that you use plain text, though.
Next, you can include a subtitle to your business name which commonly expresses an expression, "memory hook', motto or tagline. You can be listed under five or less categories that best suit your business for when a potential client performs a search. If you want the option to have a link to a Google map showing your location, select 'Yes' under "Show my address". If you want a link to your website, select "Yes". The link is contained in the Business Name under your listing.
Once you've made all your changes, click on "Update Business ###". Log out at the top right of the page.
