Courtenay, BC—In celebration of “Small Business Week in BC,” the Comox Valley Home-Based Business Association (CVHBBA) is hosting its 7th annual trade show to better expose many of the Valley’s small businesses to the public.
The Small Business Expo is scheduled for Friday, October 14, 1-8pm, at the Filberg Centre (below Sid Williams).
According to Donna Clarimont, owner of Clairmont Custom Draperies & Décor and the HBBA’s director of events, “Small and home-based businesses are very active in the local community, yet because they are often not store-front, they are really are ‘well kept secrets’ or ‘hidden treasures.’ This expo provides a venue for them to be more visible to the public.”

There is no cost to attend the trade show, but the donation of a non-perishable food item or cash to be used for the holiday hampers is appreciated.
